
Giving thanks to the universe...
We gathered plants and fabrics, herbs and symbols, words of wisdom and trinkets and tied them into individual bundles for each of our messages to the universe. It was a beautiful process. At the end of the day, we each took our despacho bundles with us, to despatch in the way we choose - either by earth, water or fire. That is, by burying, casting into water, or burning. Gratitude Tree at aHa Studio & Gallery
My Gratitude Tree is part of the current "Meeting Places" exhibition at aHa Studio and Gallery in Brunswick. It opens toady at 5-7pm and then is open every day from 12-6 from now until December 24th. The exhibition is a collection of Carla van Laar's beautiful paintings and mixed media on paper and canvas, jewellery by Annelise Message, amazing ceramic artworks by Helen Plesar and some of my art too - including my woollen gratitude tree, painted river stones and wool mandalas

Hands-on Inspiration...
I love workshops. I love to facilitate them and I love to participate as well. Nothing beats the chance to try something hands-on and meet other people who love doing the same. It's like going back to school, but everyone wants to be there! (imagine!)
